Verify your account
The registration is free of charge. Before renting your first bike, we need to verify your payment method. You will be required to deposit a credit of 1 € which can be used in all fare types. You can change your preferred payment method at any time. 1€ will be debitted for verification with every change.

Caution: LastenFrelos may only be returned at FreloPlus stations.
RENT A BIKE
Follow the terminal instructions or scan the QR-code with the app. The frame lock opens automatically. You can also rent bikes by calling our hotline: +49 (0) 30 69205046. The lock opens automatically so never rent a bike from afar.
PARK A BIKE
You can park your bike without stopping the rental. Activate the park mode in your app and close the lock afterwards. Simply deactivate it again to continue your ride. The lock opens automatically. Therefore do not deactivate the park mode from afar.
RETURN A BIKE
Return your bike at any official station in Freiburg. Return LastenFrelos to FreloPlus stations only. Close the lock by pressing down the lever. Refresh your app to make sure the rental has been stopped. Check the map for information about stations near you.
RENT A BIKE
Use your Frelo customer card to rent standard bikes. Tap your RFID-enabled customer card at the rear of the bike. The lock opens automatically. The account must be linked to the chip card beforehand by selecting a partner in the account.
Get your Frelo Customer card at one of the VAG Customer Centers:

VAG at the Radstation | Wentzingerstraße 15, 79106 Freiburg (Mon-Fri: 9.30am - 1.30pm and 2pm - 6pm; Sat: 10am - 2pm)
PARK A BIKE
You can park your bike without stopping the rental. Activate the park mode in your app and close the lock afterwards. Simply deactivate it again to continue your ride. The lock opens automatically. Therefore do not deactivate the park mode from afar.

Return your bike at any official station in Leverkusen. Return LastenFrelos to FreloPlus stations only. Close the lock by pressing down the lever. Refresh your app to make sure the rental has been stopped. Check the map for information about stations near you.
RESERVATION
LastenFrelos can be reserved for a duration of 30 minutes. There is a deposit of 1 €, which is forfeited if the bike is rented within the reservation period. Simply click on "Reserve bike" in the app and confirm this.
SERVICE FEES
Returning bikes outside official Frelo stations or FreloPlus stations (for LastenFrelos) is not allowed. A service fee of min. 20€ will apply.
FRELOPLUS STATIONS
On FreloPlus stations you can rent normal bikes and also LastenFrelos. The later may only be returned to one of those FreloPlus stations only.
